Event Recommendation: Join the European Commission’s Textile Ecosystem Stakeholder Event
The European Commission is steadily pushing forward regulatory changes and implementation strategy to achieve the textile ecosystem transition. One of the objectives in 2024/2025 is to develop and introduce mandatory eco-design requirements ensuring durability, reparability, and recyclability, including requirements for minimum recycled content for textiles to be part of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) originally published on 30 March 2022.
Next Tuesday, on the 4th of June, the Commission will hold a textile ecosystem stakeholder event, continuing the discussions with key industrial stakeholders since last year to ensure an informed and transparent transition can be achieved collectively. We encourage our stakeholders to register and participate in the discussion. See you there! Registration ends 5/31 at 5pm CET
